iCapital is seeking a Vice President to join the Legal team to focus on Latin American markets and distribution. This role supports investment product offerings across U.S. and Latin American jurisdictions, advising on complex cross-border distribution and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in fund formation, a strong understanding of securities regulations, and ideally Spanish proficiency. The position offers a salary between $180,000 and $220,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fund formation experience within the investment management space.
• Strong knowledge of relevant U.S. securities laws and Latin American regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with offshore fund structures and international private placement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements with distribution agents ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Advise on legal implications of offering new products.
• Coordinate with local counsel on regulatory matters.
