Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. seeks a senior VP for Life & Annuity Risk to lead enterprise risk management, model risk, and ALM initiatives. The role supports Bermuda EBS activities, financial reporting, and governance across life, annuity, and P&C lines.

The position reports to the L&A Risk Officer with potential reporting shifts as models mature. Remote work with travel to Nashville, TN and Jersey City, NJ is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience with long-term insurance liabilities.
• Ideally a credentialed actuary with deep expertise in insurance ALM projections.
• Strong knowledge of life and annuity insurance/reinsurance, ALM, and capital frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a robust risk management program that integrates with business partners to provide proactive oversight.
• Lead ERM support for Bermuda EBS activities, including financial reporting and model updates.
• Oversee ALM-related models ensuring proper usage, consistency, and compliance with risk standards.
• Provide input to Model Governance Committee and support audits or external reviews.
