Job summary

Serve Robotics seeks a visionary VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead IT strategy, security, and delivery across depots, labs, and offices. You will own infrastructure, standards, security, and support services powering day-to-day robotics development and operations.

You will scale systems for rapid growth, ensure reliability, regulatory compliance, and a superior user experience while mentoring a high-performing IT team across time zones.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT infrastructure and operations.
• 8+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience managing distributed enterprise IT environments.
• Experience across multiple time zones and rapid growth.
• Deep expertise in networking, cloud platforms, identity management and enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to hire and scale IT teams and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, leadership and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute IT roadmap aligned with growth, expansion and R&D goals, owning budget and vendor decisions.
• Partner with engineering, security, operations, HR, finance, facilities and growth teams to enable expansion.
• Lead IT planning for new markets, facilities, acquisitions and major initiatives.
• M&A IT diligence and integration strategy and execution with minimal disruption.
• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, networks and cloud services for uptime and scale.
• Implement collaboration, productivity and ERP systems for cross-functional teams.
• Support IoT and edge-device deployments critical to robotics delivery operations.
• Define access controls, identity management, and incident response with security leaders.
• Ensure SOX, SOC 2, GDPR compliance and continuous improvement of IT security controls.
• Build and scale a high-performing IT team and establish IT SLAs.
• Consolidate SaaS vendors and manage budgets; improve identity access management and help desk processes.
