Base Pay Range

$130,000 - $175,000 per year

Position Overview

Our client is a boutique investment bank with a national footprint and a deep specialization in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector. Headquartered in Cleveland, and with offices in Grand Rapids, Plano, and Southern California, they provide M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic consulting services to clients across the financial services landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry professionals.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and marketing materials.
  • Drive due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
  • Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, fostering professional development and high performance.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting senior bankers in client outreach.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role.
  • Strong transaction experience in FIG, with a preference for candidates with specialty insurance expertise.
  • Proven ability to lead deal execution and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain).
Expected Compensation

Base salary: $130k - $175k
Discretionary bonus: up to 100%
