Job summary

Atlas Search, a global financial services firm, is creating a new VP level role in New York to lead Internal Audit coverage of Fixed Income valuations across IPV, operations, and valuation controls. Qualifications

• 6–15 years of Internal Audit experience at a large bank or financial services firm.
• Experience across Fixed Income including operations, product control, valuation control, market risk, and credit risk.
• Ability to explain risk clearly and directly; strong communication.
• Ideas on how data and AI can change audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead assurance work on valuation risk and related controls.
• Spot risks early and integrate into risk assessment and audit coverage.
• Explain matters to management in clear terms.
• Tie metrics across valuation, market risk, models, and P&L to inform risk view.
• Oversee work against audit methodology and quality standards; coach juniors.
• Partner with stakeholders globally, including traders, quants, model risk, valuation controllers.
• Use data analytics and AI tools to focus coverage toward continuous monitoring.
