Job Overview:

Our VP Insurance Business Development will be responsible for proactively driving life, LTC, and DI insurance sales within an assigned geographic territory serving LPL institutional clients and/or independent advisors, focusing on larger permanent life cases. You will engage with LPL advisors to uncover insurance opportunities and provide sales support.

Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with advisors and internal teams to grow insurance sales.
  • Conduct proactive outreach through meetings, calls, webinars, and events.
  • Assist advisors in closing business, both in the field and via phone/video.
  • Manage advisor profiles and develop strategic business plans.
  • Maintain sales metrics and collaborate with operational teams.
  • Stay current on industry, legislative, and tax issues.
  • Participate in departmental projects as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 6 (or 7) and 63, and Life Insurance license
  • 5+ years in life insurance sales or brokerage (BGA experience preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

  • Experience with Winflex, Ensight, or similar systems
Pay Range:

$183,500 - $305,900/year, including base salary and incentives, dependent on experience, location, and performance.
