Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney (Remote – California)

Location: Remote (Must reside in California)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

This role involves handling a range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and general liability cases. You'll work remotely from anywhere in California, with occasional in-person appearances as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a full caseload from initial assignment through trial or settlement.
• Draft legal documents, conduct discovery, take and defend depositions.
• Attend virtual or in-person hearings, mediations, and trials (as needed).
• Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and fellow attorneys to develop effective defense strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to case deadlines in a remote environment.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote setting while managing deadlines and caseload independently.
• Trial experience is a plus.
