Job summary

Private Equity is partnering with an established investment firm to hire a Vice President for a growing investing team. The VP will lead evaluation and execution of investments across asset-backed and real-economy opportunities, interfacing with senior decision-makers.

You will own transactions from initial review through portfolio management, develop sponsor and intermediary relationships, and mentor junior professionals while helping build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in private credit, principal investing, or related field.
• Proven ability to underwrite and close complex investments.
• Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of new investment opportunities across diligence, market and financial analysis.
• Build investment cases and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage live transactions with external advisors and internal teams.
• Develop relationships with sponsors, intermediaries and management teams.
• Drive portfolio oversight including performance monitoring and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor junior professionals and refine investment processes.
