The role leads the enterprise indirect procurement strategy, drives cost optimization, supplier performance, risk management and scalable procurement capabilities as DePuy Synthes evolves as a standalone entity within the Johnson & Johnson family.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of procurement leadership experience.
• Experience leading indirect procurement at a global/enterprise level.
• Proven ability to develop and execute indirect sourcing strategies that maximize supplier value with measurable impact.
• Experience leading and developing senior‑level teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing indirect procurement organization.
• Lead the global indirect procurement strategy across key spend categories such as IT, services, facilities, marketing and indirect services.
• Champion and execute enterprise change initiatives including operating model evolution and digital procurement enablement.
• Partner with senior leaders to align procurement strategies with priorities, growth initiatives and transformation.
• Drive cost management, productivity and value creation while ensuring service quality and supplier innovation.
• Lead supplier strategy including selection, performance management and risk governance; ensure cross-functional input.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance on contracting standards, regulatory requirements and budgeted savings.
• Establish governance frameworks for compliant, ethical, value‑driven sourcing and contracting.
