Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Vice President, Indirect Procurement, Orthopedics, located in multiple U.S. locations. This role reports to the Chief Procurement Officer and leads enterprise‑level indirect procurement strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate offers 10–15+ years in procurement leadership, global sourcing experience, MBA or advanced degree, and a proven ability to drive cost reduction and supplier performance within a complex, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field).
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing indirect procurement organization.
• Lead the global indirect procurement strategy across key spend categories.
• Champion and execute enterprise change initiatives, including operating model evolution and digital procurement enablement.
• Partner with senior leaders to align procurement strategies with priorities and growth.
• Drive cost management, productivity, and value creation while ensuring service quality and risk mitigation.
• Lead supplier strategy including selection, performance management, and governance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance to align contracting standards and controls.
• Establish governance frameworks for compliant, ethical sourcing and contracting practices.
