Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks a VP, Head of Nursing to lead nursing strategy and clinical insights across Masimo’s medical device portfolio. You will partner with executives, clinical leaders, and product teams to shape adoption and optimize patient care workflows.

This remote role reports to the President, Commercial Sales and is housed in Irvine, CA with travel as required. Exceptional nursing leadership and C-level relationship management are essential for success.

VP, Head of Nursing is responsible for Masimo's senior nursing executive and clinical strategist, acting as a key link between healthcare providers, nursing leadership, product innovation, and commercial teams. Leveraging extensive experience in nursing practice, hospital operations, patient safety, and healthcare technology, this role helps shape strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and effective utilization of the Masimo's innovative medical device portfolio. Working closely with customers, key opinion leaders, executive leadership, product management, marketing, and sales teams, provides clinical insight and market expertise to ensure the organization's technologies address real-world healthcare challenges, improve caregiver workflows, and deliver meaningful value to patients and providers. As a highly visible industry leader, the CNO serves as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives while helping the company identify market opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships, and communicate the clinical and operational benefits of its differentiated technologies.

This position reports to the President, Commercial Sales and is part of the Commercial Sales Dept located in Irvine, CA and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serves as the executive voice of nursing and clinical practice within the organization.
• Partners with executive leadership to identify market opportunities and emerging healthcare trends impacting nursing practice, patient safety, and healthcare delivery.
• Provides strategic guidance regarding the clinical application and market positioning of the company's technology portfolio.
• Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure products and solutions align with customer needs and clinical workflows.
• Fosters the development of long-term strategies that drive market growth and technology adoption
• Insures that acute care nursing leadership understands the importance of how Masimo solutions and technology improve Patient Safety, Patient Quality, Patient Outcomes and nursing workflow.
• Partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to develop strategies that increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of the company's medical device technologies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 15+ years of Nursing experience required.
• Ten or more years of nursing leadership and operations experience in healthcare;
• Must have C-Level Relationship Management experience;
• Documented achievements in nursing and Workflow Analysis Design & Improvement;
• Proven track record in Team Mentoring & Leadership;

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements
• Ability to travel - list specifics 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience within a medical device, healthcare technology, or healthcare solutions organization.
• Demonstrated success supporting commercial organizations through strategic planning, market development, or customer engagement.
• Preferred active RN Licensure

The annual salary range for this role is$270,000-$300,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting. This range may bemodifiedin the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
