Merkle seeks a hands‑on AI Solutions Architect (VP level) to design, code, prototype, and deploy AI solutions within the Office of the CTO. You will shape architecture, standards, and platform, acting as a founding member of a new AI Solutions team and working with a globally distributed AI group.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years in software engineering or architecture with 3+ years delivering production generative AI/LLM systems.
• Hands-on coding in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Java; able to implement and debug substantial parts of a solution.
• Concrete examples of AI systems you personally built and shipped with your direct contribution.
• Practical experience building agentic systems with modern orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, Agent SDKs).
• Experience applying LLM evaluation, observability, RAG, and vector search patterns.
• Strong foundations in API design, data integration, cloud deployment, containers, CI/CD.

Aufgaben

• Build and ship AI solutions end‑to‑end.
• Personally implement AI applications and orchestration, APIs, data integrations, and deployment pipelines.
• Take solutions from discovery and rapid prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.
• Design integrations between AI services and enterprise systems using APIs and event‑driven patterns.
• Apply LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration to concrete business needs such as customer service and analytics automation.
• Write tests, build evaluation datasets, implement observability, and debug failures to improve quality, reliability, and cost.
