Who you are:

Acts as the business lead for the agency team and is responsible for all facets of assigned client business. The VP, Group Account Director carries out the client's vision and advocates of agency solutions by ensuring proper alignment of resources to deliver against it. They lead cross-functional teams to deliver great work and client satisfaction across multiple accounts. The drive organic growth and growth of each of their account folks. Execute on company goals like wecentricity, excellence and convergence.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Tactical ManagementDirects account team to oversee tacticsProvides guidance to high-profile and/or new strategy/deliverablesClient Management

Develops working relationships with director-level client partners as well as core brand teamTouches base with senior-level clients regularly to ferret out any opportunities or issues earlyDemonstrates ability to pick up the phone and talk to any level of client at any time regardless of daily interactionsDevelops and maintains senior-level relationships at agency-of-record account(s)May be called upon to step in (on an ad hoc basis) to assist with certain situations on other account(s)Financial Management

Accountable for the forecasting, monthly and annual revenue recognition of assigned accountsProvides ongoing guidance to staff for pricing, revisions, and forecastingAlerts SVP/VP Accounts to upsides/downsides related to revenue or forecastingReports early and often on any changes to financial pictureLeads agency understanding of financial implications regarding jobs/accountsEnsures that issues regarding clients/jobs are identified as early as possible and provides a rationale and guidance on next stepsProduct Knowledge

Understands product, category and competition so that can easily jump into any strategic discussionStrategy

Provides solid insights to strategic development process to internal and external teamsExpert on one or more industry segmentsHas or develops deep familiarity with client's market, including disease state, treating clinicians and influencers and their corresponding professional societies, competitive companies and technologies, and current and future state of treatmentConsistently is a go-to person for business insightsUnderstands product, category, and competition to easily jump into any strategic discussionDraws upon analogs across the agency to share best practices/ideasBusiness Development

Expands agency opportunities to other client departments or divisionsParticipates actively in business development initiatives representing the account management teamMentors junior staff and encourages participationContinues to hone and perfect presentation style and agency responses to typical questionsMaintains contact and open dialogue with an ongoing list of senior-level executives in the industry to mine for new businessParticipates in networking eventsIdentifies inline opportunities for sister companiesLeadership & Agency Advocacy

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
