Job summary

Digital Factory in Chicago seeks a Vice President of Grant Development to spearhead grant acquisition and management across government, foundations, and corporate funders. You will lead the grant writing team, oversee research and opportunity identification, and ensure timely proposals and grant compliance.

The role requires a strategic thinker with proven fundraising success, exceptional writing and leadership skills, and the ability to align grants with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of grant writing and management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a grant development team.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a comprehensive grant seeking strategy.
• Leading, mentoring, and expanding the grant writing team.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
• Overseeing the research, identification, and securing of new funding opportunities.
• Managing the full lifecycle of grants, from proposal writing to compliance and reporting.
• Collaborating with various departments to align grant opportunities with organizational goals and projects.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the submission of all grant applications.
• Monitoring changes in grant regulations and requirements to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned, etc.
