Job summary

Nextlink is seeking an Executive Leader for Government Programs in Hudson Oaks, TX, overseeing BEAD, RDOF, and related federal/state broadband initiatives. You will guide the grants team, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and ensure compliance across all funding portfolios.

The role requires experience leading complex, multi-site programs, strong governance, and the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable plans for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in telecommunications, broadband, or infrastructure, incl. 3+ years leading multi-site programs.
• Hands-on experience executing federal/state broadband programs such as BEAD, RDOF, or ReConnect.
• Ability to translate grant rules and program requirements into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the grants team, setting priorities and owning results across all government-funded programs.
• Oversee new funding applications, rebid rounds, and compliance from application to closeout.
• Own the integrated execution plan for active government programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Drive NEPA, permitting, BABA compliance, and construction milestones to on-time completion.
• Represent Nextlink with state broadband offices, federal program staff, and contractors regarding execution and status.
