Job summary

Morningstar DBRS is seeking a Vice President to grow our structured credit business across CLOs, leveraged loans, and fund finance. This role sits within the Global Business Development team and focuses on building relationships with asset managers, lenders, arrangers, issuers, and investors across the market.

We are looking for someone with market knowledge and a commercial mindset who can create opportunities and expand Morningstar DBRS's presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured credit or related markets.
• Strong understanding of credit markets and participants.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to develop business opportunities through networks and outreach.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across financial institutions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with asset managers, issuers, lenders, arrangers, and investors across the structured credit market.
• Support BD efforts across CLOs, leveraged loans, and fund finance.
• Identify opportunities to expand Morningstar DBRS's market presence and ratings activity.
• Represent Morningstar DBRS in client meetings, industry conferences, and events.
• Partner with analytical, marketing, and leadership teams to support commercial objectives and client engagement.
• Stay informed on market developments and industry trends in structured credit.
