Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Vice President, Services Procurement to lead enterprise strategy for contingent workforce, outsourcing and clinical services. You will partner with Insurance and Corporate Services leaders, shaping operating models, workforce decisions and supplier solutions before sourcing begins.

You will build multi-year category strategies, manage major negotiations and drive value realization across external services while partnering with Finance, HR and Legal.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Procurement, Sourcing or related leadership roles.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in contingent workforce, outsourcing and clinical services.
• Experience designing or sourcing global business services models.
• Exceptional business-case acuity with baselines, costs and benefits.
• Proven success leading complex services portfolios and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic procurement partner to Insurance and Corporate Services leadership.
• Translate business strategy into integrated services, workforce and supplier strategies.
• Frame problems and test make/buy/ outsource/ automate options upstream of sourcing.
• Provide concise, decision-ready recommendations on outcomes, value and risk.
• Drive alignment across Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Procurement.
• Lead or sponsor high-value, complex services negotiations.
• Define enterprise contingent workforce strategy and delivery models.
• Shape strategic consulting and clinical services with fit-for-purpose models.
