Job summary

TPG is seeking a Vice President to join the Global Communications team, supporting the Real Estate platforms across the U.S., Europe and Asia. This role serves as a key liaison to stakeholders globally and helps shape strategic communications for a portfolio managing nearly $40 billion.

The ideal candidate will drive media relations, develop speaking points, press releases, LinkedIn content and awards submissions while coordinating with investment, fundraising, Legal & Compliance, HR and other

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in financial communications within asset management, investment bank, or financial communications agency.
• Investment management knowledge, with interest in real estate, private equity and credit markets.
• Strong project management, sound judgement, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Media relations with top-tier/trade and financial media; experience in proactive and reactive strategies.
• Ability to work across geographies/time zones and to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic integrated communications and marketing strategy for the Real Estate platform globally.
• Provide ongoing transaction and portfolio support; lead media relations, social copywriting, speaking engagements, awards, and reactive issues.
• Monitor real estate market developments and share intelligence with investment teams regarding communications and reputational considerations.
• Build networks with investment, fundraising, Legal & Compliance, HR and other stakeholders to inform and execute strategies.
• Create written materials for press releases, media talking points, LinkedIn posts, Q&As, thought leadership, and internal memos.
