Job summary

TransUnion is seeking the Vice President, Global Network Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and modernization of the worldwide network. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure, Engineering & Operations and requires building a high-performing, globally distributed team.

The position is hybrid, with in-person responsibilities at a TU office location for a minimum of two days per week.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale enterprise network engineering, architecture, or infrastructure within complex global environments.
• Deep expertise designing, implementing, and operating global network services across data centers, cloud platforms, internet connectivity, and corporate networks.
• Experience developing modernization strategies within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Proven success leading large-scale engineering organizations across geographies.
• Experience operating in highly regulated environments balancing security, resiliency, risk, and growth.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global network strategy for secure, resilient, scalable services.
• Lead architecture, engineering, and roadmap across LAN, WAN, cloud, data center, internet edge, and partner connectivity.
• Drive modernization of network services for hybrid/multi-cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, on-prem).
• Standardize and simplify network complexity through lifecycle management and best practices.
• Establish service-based operating model with defined network services, ownership, and metrics.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, DevOps, security teams to improve service consumption via automation.
• Strengthen reliability through incident, problem, change governance, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Advance observability, telemetry, AI-enabled operations to improve availability.
• Incorporate security, access controls, and governance into designs and operations.
• Own capacity planning, vendor partnerships, investment strategies, and cost optimization.
• Build and lead a high-performing global engineering organization focused on accountability and outcomes.
