Job summary

Inizio Evoke Comms in the US seeks a Vice President, Media Relations to lead strategic media programs across the agency, reporting to the SVP. This role requires deep media relationships and the ability to guide senior client engagements.

You will drive client satisfaction, supervise staffing, and collaborate with account teams to deliver integrated campaigns. The position offers remote or hybrid work from NY or Philadelphia with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' communications agency experience or relevant health/science role.
• Proven experience overseeing large media programs and client engagements.
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
• Track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee media strategy recommendations for all accounts and senior teams.
• Lead media portion of campaigns, ensuring best practices and quality deliverables.
• Serve as strategic counsel for issues management and crisis planning.
• Maintain relationships with top-tier reporters and media outlets.
• Attend client meetings and media events as needed to support programs.
• Develop staffing plans for core business units.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and participate in performance reviews.
• Collaborate with account teams to deliver integrated programming.
