UL Solutions in Northbrook, Illinois, seeks a Vice President, Commercial & Digitalization to serve as the senior legal leader for global digital and technology matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and real estate, partnering with enterprise leadership to enable growth and rapid digital transformation.

You will build scalable contracting playbooks, govern AI initiatives, oversee real estate and sourcing matters, and lead a global legal team to deliver practical, business-focused legal

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school with extensive in-house and/or top law firm experience in global commercial, technology, privacy, sourcing, or real estate matters.
• Experience advising executive leadership and translating complex legal issues into practical business guidance.
• Deep expertise in contracting risk allocation, privacy, cybersecurity, and real estate legal issues.
• Knowledge of AI governance models and governance for technology partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior legal advisor for global digitalization, data privacy, technology, real estate, and sourcing matters.
• Lead the global Commercial & Digitalization legal team with strategy, priorities, and operating model alignment.
• Oversee legal support for enterprise sourcing and procurement transactions and high-value contracting.
• Provide leadership on digital transformation initiatives, AI governance, data products, and cloud/cybersecurity requirements.
• Manage outside counsel and legal spend while ensuring value delivery.
