Job summary

Goldman Sachs, based in New York, seeks a Vice President for the Bank Debt Portfolio Group – TERM to lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex Letters of Credit globally. You will be the SME on LC mechanics and related credit documents for global deal teams.

You will review Credit and Security Agreements, coordinate with LC Operations and front-office teams, and ensure compliance with ISP98, UCP600, URDG758 across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6–8+ years in structured trade finance, debt capital markets or related legal roles.
• Deep knowledge of ISP98, UCP600 and URDG758.
• Experience with LC and bank guarantee documentation.

Responsibilities

• Structure LC facilities for complex debt transactions.
• Coordinate between front-office teams and LC Operations.
• Review and negotiate LC text to manage risk.
• Review Credit, Security and Cash Deposit Agreements.
