Job summary

Uniquity Bio is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Development (Gastroenterology) to shape and execute development strategy for GI programs. You will lead medical oversight across Phases 1–3, build development plans, and partner with operations, translational medicine, regulatory, and medical affairs to drive trials and lifecycle planning.

The role requires MD with GI specialty, 5+ years in clinical drug development, and strong leadership in matrixed settings.

Qualifications

MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
Specialty in Gastroenterology; board certification preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant clinical and/or biopharmaceutical industry experience, including substantial experience in clinical drug development.
Demonstrated experience serving as a clinical lead for gastroenterology-related development programs.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the clinical development strategy and execution for Uniquity programs.
Serve as the medical lead for clinical trials and IDEP across Phases 1–3.
Develop and maintain Target Product Profiles, development plans, and lifecycle strategies.
Provide strategic input on indication selection, clinical positioning, and portfolio prioritization.
Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and cross-functional teams to align with regulatory expectations and timelines.
