Job summary

State Street is seeking a strategic, hands-on VP to design and deliver an enterprise Generative AI platform. You will own Bedrock, Foundry, and Databricks architectures across AWS/Azure, drive IaC standards, Harness CI/CD, and FinOps, while mentoring senior engineers and enabling data scientists and application teams to ship Gen AI solutions at scale.

You will set technical direction, author production-grade constructs, and collaborate with Data, Security, and MLOps leadership to establish

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform/cloud/SRE engineering
• 5+ years hands-on AWS and Azure with production depth in Bedrock, Azure OpenAI/Foundry, and Databricks
• 3+ years in technical leadership or people management
• Financial services or regulated-industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Bedrock strategy and multi-region architecture
• Architect and govern model access, prompt management, and safety guardrails
• Own Foundry hub projects, capacity planning, and model catalog governance
• Design RAG/agent workloads and data residency controls
• Oversee Databricks strategy including Unity Catalog and MLflow
• Develop secure-by-default golden paths and scalable infra
• Oversee Harness pipelines and GitOps integrations
• Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with Data/ Security leadership
