Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to join DSV Group Legal and report to the Head of Legal, North America. You will provide comprehensive guidance on complex matters across Air & Sea and Contract Logistics in the U.S. and Canada, negotiating contracts and advising on risk and compliance.

This on-site role requires governance support, HR matters, and collaboration with global stakeholders to drive legal strategy and protect business interests.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in the applicable state; in-house status preferred.
• Minimum eight years of legal experience, at least five as in-house counsel.
• At least five years in logistics/transportation law (ocean/air/warehousing).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for air/ocean transport and logistics services.
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Advise senior management on risk, compliance, and regulatory issues.
• Support governance, company formation, resolutions, and shareholder matters.
• Assist HR on labor and employment matters and provide policy training.
• Collaborate with Group functions and global stakeholders.
