Job summary

Civic Elite, a growing commercial general contractor based in Grandview, MO, seeks a Vice President to shape strategy, grow market presence, and lead operations. You will develop talent, strengthen client relationships, and drive performance while building a lasting legacy.

The role requires a strong track record in construction leadership, P&L management, and business development, plus deep knowledge of project delivery and ERP systems. Join an entrepreneurial team focused on sustainable growth.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial construction, general contracting, or related industries.
Demonstrated success leading teams and driving profitable business growth.
Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery, estimating, preconstruction, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and risk management.
Experience leveraging construction ERP, project management, reporting, and business intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the strategic vision for Civic Elite.
Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings.
Position Civic Elite for long-term success and increased enterprise value.
Build and strengthen relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and industry partners.
Lead key pursuits, presentations, negotiations, and strategic opportunities.
Drive customer satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service and execution.
Serve as a visible ambassador for Civic Elite within the construction industry and local communities.
Provide executive leadership across estimating, preconstruction, project management, field operations, safety, and support functions.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
