Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President, GBSC Operations Excellence & Enablement to establish and lead performance management, planning, and governance for the GBSC. This role oversees FP&A, data governance, and vendor governance, driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence with a cross-functional team.

The position partners with Strategy & Transformation, Customer Experience, PMO, and Finance to align planning, performance, and execution across global shared services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance, operations, or related roles.
• Proven track record in performance management, planning, or governance at scale.
• Experience in global shared services or finance operations preferred.
• Strong background in financial planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the GBSC performance management framework, including KPI definition and review cadence.
• Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning.
• Manage capacity and workforce planning with visibility into demand and resource allocation.
• Oversee data governance and insights for a single source of truth in reporting.
• Establish vendor and contract governance, including SLAs and scorecards.
• Lead vendor and BPO performance reviews to align with service and cost expectations.
• Define process governance standards and change control practices.
• Support automation and AI initiatives through documentation and knowledge management.
• Provide analytical insights and decision support to senior leadership.
