Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis in New York to deliver strategic financial insights and support across Finance/Accounting. You will lead budgeting and forecasting for Fund and Investor Solutions Engineering groups and partner with COO teams on workforce strategy.

You will develop financial models and analytics to enable leadership decisions, monitor variance to plan, and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of FP&A, finance business partnering, or related roles.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling capabilities.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Ability to partner effectively with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools; focus on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide FP&A support to Finance and Engineering groups.
• Lead annual budget process and ongoing forecast cycles.
• Develop and maintain financial models, performance reporting, and analytics.
• Deliver actionable insights to senior management to drive performance.
• Monitor actuals vs. plan; identify variances and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate across Finance and business teams on strategic initiatives.
