Qualifications

• 15+ years in operational, manufacturing, or engineering leadership.
• 5+ years in a director-level role leading operations.
• Experience scaling battery cell production from pilot to giga-scale.
• Hands-on battery manufacturing process knowledge across blocks.
• Experience managing large CapEx/OpEx budgets and international supplier ecosystems.
• Strong cross-functional and commercial acumen.
• Engineering degree; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Foundry Operations strategy from pilot to gigascale.
• Lead site evaluation, plant construction, equipment selection.
• Direct equipment specification, RFQ/tendering, commissioning, handover.
• Build and mentor an automotive quality manufacturing team.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to translate specs into manufacturability.
• Align capacity roadmaps with market demand and customer commitments.
• Communicate with executive leadership and board on CapEx/OpEx.
• Implement KPI-driven ops, SPC, and continuous improvement.
