The role requires 12+ years in accounting and reporting, CPA, deep US GAAP mastery, and a track record of building capable teams while modernizing processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including senior leadership.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• Deep technical command of US GAAP and SEC reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead external financial reporting, including consolidated statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Set technical accounting direction on complex transactions.
• Monitor new accounting standards and SEC/regulatory changes and plan adoption.
• Oversee the close calendar and shorten reporting timelines without sacrificing accuracy.
• Serve as senior contact for external auditors through quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Present results, variances, and key accounting positions to the Board and Audit Committee.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX-related work.
• Build, mentor, and promote a bench of reporting and technical accounting talent.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal to reflect the full business picture.

Your Mission

• Lead external financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures
• Set the technical accounting direction on complex or non-routine transactions
• Monitor new accounting standards and SEC or regulatory changes, and put plans in place to adopt them
• Oversee the close calendar and shorten reporting timelines without sacrificing accuracy
• Serve as the senior contact for external auditors through quarterly reviews and the annual audit
• Present results, variances, and key accounting positions to the Board and Audit Committee
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX-related work where applicable
• Build, mentor, and promote a bench of reporting and technical accounting talent
• Work alongside FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal so reporting reflects the full business picture
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
