Job Description

RLDatix (RLD) is on a mission to help raise the standard of care…everywhere. Trusted by over 10,000 healthcare organizations around the world, our solutions help improve health and care. Our applications ensure that patients receive the best and safest care while supporting the providers who deliver it.

Joining TeamRLD means being part of a global effort of over 2,000 team members in making a difference in healthcare…every day.

The VP, Corporate FP&A will serve as a direct report and the principal deputy of the SVP Finance & Sales Operations, and as a central leader in global reporting, forecasting, planning and executive decision-making. Partnering with the CFO, CEO and Executive Leadership Team, the VP, Corporate FP&A will shape financial direction, guide investment decisions and translate Investors' priorities into measurable outcomes.

This is a broad global finance leadership role, extending beyond planning and reporting. The VP, Corporate FP&A will connect market, commercial and operational drivers to financial outcomes; evaluate growth investments, portfolio priorities, M&A and performance improvement; and use planning, forecasting, reporting and finance technology to support faster, higher-quality decisions.

The VP, Corporate FP&A will lead the four-person Corporate FP&A team and provide dotted-line leadership and guidance to the wider global FP&A organization of 25. The Corporate team also partners with Regional and Business Unit Finance Business Partners, the People Team and the Corporate Information Systems Team. The VP, Corporate FP&A will strengthen commercial acumen, talent and succession while building an integrated Finance organization focused on growth and long-term value.

Given the location of key executive stakeholders across North America, APAC and Europe, the successful candidate will operate as a critical executive finance leader within the Chicago headquarters and across the global organization.

How You'll Spend Your Time
Enterprise Strategy, Growth and Value Creation
  • Serve as the SVP Finance & Sales Operations' principal deputy and strategic right-hand partner, helping shape the enterprise agenda, aligning the global Finance organization and representing the SVP Finance & Sales Operations in senior forums when delegated.
  • Act as a key strategic advisor to the SVP Finance & Sales Operations and CFO, helping shape enterprise investment decisions, growth strategy, priorities and long-term value creation.
  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, SVP Finance & Sales Operations and Executive Leadership Team to evaluate strategic choices, identify the most important enterprise value drivers and convert strategy into clear financial objectives, investment priorities and execution plans.
  • Develop and challenge initiatives to accelerate organic growth, improve customer retention, expand margins, strengthen cash generation and enhance return on invested capital.
  • Own the enterprise capital-allocation framework, evaluating trade-offs across growth investment, product and technology, go-to-market capacity, transformation, M&A, debt and other uses of capital.
  • Translate private equity value-creation priorities into measurable plans, milestones and outcomes, and provide Investors with transparent insight into progress, risks and opportunities.
  • As required, support M&A due diligence, integration planning, synergy tracking and post-investment performance review.
CEO, CFO and Executive Decision Support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team, bringing independent financial judgment, constructive challenge and clear recommendations to high-impact decisions.
  • Lead enterprise scenario analysis and integrated decision modeling across growth, pricing, product investment, organizational capacity, profitability, liquidity and strategic transactions.
  • Frame complex choices clearly, quantify risk and upside, define decision criteria and ensure approved actions are translated rapidly into accountable execution.
  • Lead the preparation of Executive Leadership Team, Board and investor materials, ensuring the narrative is strategic, balanced and focused on performance, outlook and value creation rather than reporting alone.
Global Finance Leadership and Integration
  • Provide financial leadership across a global software organization operating across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
  • Provide visible dotted-line leadership and guidance across the global FP&A organization of 25 people, aligning regional, business-unit and corporate teams behind enterprise priorities, consistent standards and a strong performance culture.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, talent development, succession planning and deployment of resources to the highest-value priorities.
  • Coordinate with the Global Controller, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, CIS, Sales Operations and other Finance and Strategic Operations leaders to integrate financial disciplines and resolve cross-functional priorities.
  • Act as a senior escalation point and delegated leader across Finance, exercising judgment on matters that require the SVP Finance & Sales Operations' attention and personally driving resolution where appropriate.
Strategic Performance, Planning and Insight
  • Own the integrated rolling five-year model as the financial expression of enterprise strategy, connecting market, commercial, product, workforce, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow drivers.
  • Lead the annual financial plan (AOP), forecasts and performance outlook as dynamic management tools that test strategic assumptions, reveal risks and opportunities and support timely resource reallocation.
  • Define and interpret the enterprise performance framework across growth, ARR, retention, bookings, revenue, margin, EBITDA, billings, cash conversion and return metrics, linking outcomes to actionable operational drivers.
  • Deliver concise, decision-useful insight that explains what is changing, why it matters, what management should do and how it affects long-term enterprise value.
Finance Business Partnering and Transformation
  • Lead finance business partnering for Finance, People/HR and IT/CIS, ensuring functional strategies, workforce plans, technology investments and transformation programs deliver measurable enterprise value.
  • Partner closely with the PMO Function to prioritize the investment portfolio, challenge business cases, track delivery and benefits realization, and redirect resources where returns are not being achieved.
  • Own the FP&A technology and planning ecosystem, with SAP Analytics Cloud currently serving as the core planning platform.
  • Champion transformation, automation, advanced analytics and AI across Finance to improve decision quality, scalability and the organization's capacity to support growth.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing Corporate FP&A team of four, while influencing capability, collaboration and performance across the wider global FP&A organization.
