Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) seeks a technology leader to own the strategy, engineering teams, and platform delivery for our global finance systems. This role sits in the Technology organization and reports to the Head of Enterprise Solutions.

You will guide engineers, architects, and delivery teams to modernize and scale finance platforms across G/L, reporting, credit control, and accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven ability to scale and lead enterprise software programs.
• Strong executive communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering org for finance tech globally.
• Own technology lifecycle for finance platforms: vision → strategy → architecture → build → deploy → operate → optimize.
• Drive agile delivery and CI/CD adoption across teams and geographies.
• Define multi-year technology roadmap for finance platforms aligned with business priorities.
