Job Summary:

The Vice President, Finance Business Partner is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance in a matrixed environment and providing expert guidance to executive leadership. This role involves partnering with business units to align financial strategies with organizational goals, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the EVP Practice Operations providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

  • Lead business financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and growth.

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement through rate analytics, insights and clinical productivity.

  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to financial operations.

  • Drive the adoption of advanced financial tools and technologies to enhance reporting and analytics.

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements

  • Excellent verbal & written communication

  • Exceptional team and staff level engagement

  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement based on current clinical best practices and standards of care

  • Experience managing a diverse team with a track record for hiring, coaching and retaining strong talent

  • Proven ability to improve business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record of success.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

In Office and Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to attend departmental and national leadership meetings is required from time to time.

Compensation:$210,000.00 – 270,000.00/annually, with additional annual bonus potential.
