The Impact You'll Make in this Role
  1. Finance Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to streamline, standardize, and modernize finance processes across the organization. Drive automation and simplification to reduce manual work and enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  2. Finance Systems Optimization: Drive improvements and standardization of finance systems and tools across regions and teams. Partner with the VP of GSC Digitalization, IT, Controllership, and other stakeholders to implement scalable, integrated solutions that align with business needs.
  3. Advanced Analytics & KPI Development: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and advanced analytics capabilities to ensure data consistency and generate actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  4. AI-Driven Operational Efficiency: Lead initiatives to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning in financial forecasting, reporting, and other finance processes. Collaborate with technology teams to identify, pilot, and scale high-impact AI use cases.
  5. Financial Planning & Analysis Support: Support the VP of GSC Digitalization in department-level budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking. Deliver data-driven insights, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations to enable informed decision-making.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with GSC leadership, IT, Controllership, and other business partners to align systems and process transformation efforts with broader enterprise strategies.
  7. Change Management & Adoption: Lead efforts to drive adoption of new tools and ways of working within the finance organization. Provide training and change management support to enable lasting process improvements and user capability building.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university and (10) ten years in finance in a private, public, government or military environment
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (16) sixteen years in finance in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proven ability to streamline, standardize, and automate finance processes, reducing complexity and manual effort while increasing accuracy and scalability.
  • Strong background in building and implementing data-driven performance management frameworks. Ability to translate business needs into meaningful KPIs and dashboards that drive insight and accountability.
  • Familiarity with applying AI and machine learning to enhance forecasting, reporting, and finance operations. Comfortable working with tech teams to identify and scale automation opportunities.
  • Solid experience supporting functional leaders with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Adept at leading change initiatives, promoting adoption of new tools and processes, and building capability through training and communication.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones in a global organization. Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adaptable to shifting priorities and demands.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements. Eager to learn, grow, and drive innovative solutions in a constantly evolving business landscape.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, etc.).
