You’re an experienced excess casualty underwriter. You know what good business looks like, you know how to price it, and you know when to say no.

Having successfully placed the Head of Transportation, we're now looking to add another experienced underwriter to support the practice's continued growth and success.

• Underwrite excess auto liability business through an exclusive product offering that provides access to $10m in capacity.
• Work with a strong flow of inbound submissions. This isn't a role where you'll spend your days chasing brokers for business.
• Join a successful, expanding transportation practice that has generated significant revenue over the past 12 months

Who they're looking for

Someone with a strong technical background in excess casualty underwriting, ideally with specific experience in excess auto liability.

You might currently be working for a specialist excess casualty carrier or MGA. Wherever you are, you'll have the underwriting judgement, market knowledge and confidence to assess submissions and make sound decisions.

You'll be comfortable managing a busy workload, working with brokers and balancing commercial opportunities with underwriting discipline.

Location and package

Charlotte, NC is preferred, although remote candidates will be considered. A competitive package is available, with an anticipated level of $200k+ depending on experience.
