VP, Excess Casualty / Transportation Underwriter

You’re an experienced excess casualty underwriter. You know what good business looks like, how to price it, and when to say no.

Having successfully placed the Head of Transportation, we're now looking to add another experienced underwriter to support the practice's continued growth and success.

Who they're looking for

Someone with a strong technical background in excess casualty underwriting, ideally with specific experience in excess auto liability.

You might currently be working for a specialist excess casualty carrier or MGA. You'll have the underwriting judgement, market knowledge and confidence to assess submissions, price risks appropriately and make sound decisions.

You'll be comfortable managing a busy workload, working with brokers and balancing commercial opportunities with underwriting discipline.

Location and package

The position is open to remote candidates across the US, with a competitive package anticipated at $200k+ depending on experience.
