Job summary

Morgan Stanley at Work (MSAW) is a division of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, focusing on equity compensation solutions for clients. The Relationship Manager will handle the equity compensation relationships within client segments, partnering with stock plan admins and HR teams to optimize program delivery and participant experience.

The RM will drive regular business reviews, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and ensure high client satisfaction while navigating complex compensation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required along with 5-10 years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of executive compensation and stock plan industries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Some travel will be required.
• Organizational skills to track and maintain multiple projects.
• Ability to work under periods of extreme pressure with tight time constraints.
• Ability to present recommendations to management clearly.
• Ability to articulate concerns effectively with stakeholders.
• Comfortable running meetings and speaking to large groups.
• Certified Equity Professional designation.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 or willingness to obtain within 180 days.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with other teams to ensure clients receive timely responses.
• Deliver regular business reviews with thought leadership and analytics.
• Maintain high personal interaction with clients through regular contact.
• Monitor client satisfaction via benchmarks, surveys and RM check-ins.
• Promote efficiencies and best practices to improve service and execution.
• Align client requests with business needs while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate new projects with clients and internal teams.
• Engage with Morgan Stanley service organizations to ensure strong delivery.
• Communicate with internal partners about plan events and issues.
• Attend industry webcasts and Morgan Stanley education forums for client sharing.
• Collaborate professionally and respectfully with colleagues.
