Onco360 is seeking a VP Enterprise Clinical Services to join our growing team. This remote opportunity will require up to 50% travel. Salary starting between $175k and $220k

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include location.

Position Summary: Identify, create and implement specialty pharmacy clinical programs that deliver high value clinical and financial outcomes in support of the Enterprise Oncology Service Offering to payer clients, physicians, patients and manufacturer partners.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and initiate clinical programs and services, and coordinate implementation.
  • Business development and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients to understand their needs and build trust. Participate in client meetings, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and managed care, as needed.
  • P&L responsibilities regarding clinical services fees.
  • Present clinical offering solutions to external stakeholders including but not limited to Trade, Regional Sales and Managed Care sales. Clinical lead for new manufacturer product and program presentations.
  • Develop protocols, recommendations, and enhanced service clinical programs to support LD portfolio and pharma services.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing support of clinical pathways. Provide guidance for clinical operational aspects of all programs. Provide oversight of all clinical decision-making aspects of all programs.
  • Oversee organizational objective to have qualified clinicians accountable to the organization for decisions affecting consumers.
  • Create, implement and monitor workflows providing Medication Therapy Management services.
  • Provide drug and protocol education to internal and external clients, including sales staff and physician office customers.
  • Develop and oversee clinical resource library for internal and external publishing.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and speaking engagements when applicable.
  • Lead for RFPs, MTM program development/nurses, and clinical implementation of new drug launches. Also, P&T committee lead.
  • Assist sales teams and marketing in client reviews.
  • Act as faculty liaison to targeted schools of pharmacy.
  • Present and publish in industry events and publications on matters related to clinical oncology pharmacy practices, demonstration projects and clinical white papers that best reflect advances made by Onco360.
  • Documentation of adverse events and product complaints per contractual obligations to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Education/Learning Experience

  • Required: B.S. or M.S. or Pharm. D in Pharmacy. License must be current and unrestricted. Also, Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist Certification (BCOP).

Work Experience

  • Required: Five or more years of oncology pharmacy practice experience.
  • Desired: Three or more years of clinical pharmacy practice experience in a specialty pharmacy setting.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Required: Understanding of oncology market and key stakeholders including but not limited to hospital outpatient processes, community-based oncology, group purchasing organizations, limited distribution drugs, risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS), clinical pathways, bundled payments and payer prior authorization approaches.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Required: Minimum 10+ years of specialty pharmacy clinical program development and management – preferably in oncology. Post graduate experience in patient care.
  • Desired: NCCN or cancer center of excellence experience. Managed care payer experience.
