Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks a Vice President of Architecture to oversee enterprise-scale data and application architecture solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance digital experiences across hybrid mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with 4–6 years of senior architecture experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated leadership designing enterprise-scale data architectures for batch and streaming workloads across cloud and on-prem
• Experience delivering cloud-based and on-prem data/integration architectures with governance and security in mind
• Proven ability to design API platforms (SOAP/REST/GraphQL/gRPC) and containerized microservices at scale
• Strong experience with multi-cloud/hybrid infrastructures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC/CI-CD
• Familiarity with SRE, observability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders and governance groups to ensure standards and best practices are followed
• Partner across units to deliver resilient, reusable enterprise solutions
• Ensure architectural compliance and influence cross-domain decisions
• Design and modify large software systems using rigorous analysis and modeling
• Lead software testing, validation, and documentation within the SDLC
• Analyze requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints
• Improve performance by modifying existing software and integrating new platforms
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and developers to design scalable systems
• Participate in technology planning and budgeting processes
• Communicate architectural results clearly to technical and business audiences
• Bridge gaps between technical and business teams and exhibit leadership
