Job summary

ONE ALLIANCE INSURANCE MANAGERS INC. seeks a Senior VP of Enterprise AI & Transformation in Sarasota, FL to drive an enterprise-wide AI strategy and transformational initiatives.

You will lead AI technology adoption across underwriting, claims, actuarial, product, operations, and IT, partnering with executives to deliver measurable business value. The role requires governance, risk management, and collaboration with Legal, Compliance, IT, and Security to ensure responsible AI use and security.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in technology, AI, digital transformation, data analytics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience directing enterprise-wide technology or transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing AI strategies, including Generative AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives, technology vendors, and strategic investments.
• Property and casualty insurance industry experience strongly preferred.

General Description:

The Vice President, Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Transformation is responsible for developing and executing the Company's enterprise-wide artificial intelligence (AI) strategy to drive innovation, operational efficiency, profitability, and business transformation. This position leads the identification, prioritization, and implementation of AI solutions across underwriting, claims, actuarial, product, operations, customer service, finance, and IT. Working collaboratively with executive leadership and business stakeholders, the VP drives AI adoption, establishes governance standards, and ensures initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes aligned with the Company's strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enterprise AI Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute a multi-year AI strategy and roadmap aligned with the Company's business objectives, operational efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
• Advise executive leadership on emerging AI technologies, strategic opportunities, risks, and investments.
• Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement AI initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

AI Initiatives & Implementation

• Oversee the enterprise AI portfolio, including project prioritization, implementation, resource requirements, adoption, and performance.
• Lead the deployment of AI solutions, including underwriting automation, intelligent claims processing, fraud detection, predictive analytics, and customer service tools.
• Direct the adoption of Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and automation technologies to improve business processes and decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure effective systems integration, scalability, and alignment with enterprise technology infrastructure.
• Evaluate AI platforms, vendors, and technology partners to support business needs and cost-effective solutions.

AI Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

• Establish AI governance policies and controls to ensure responsible, ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, IT, and Information Security to address regulatory requirements, data privacy, cybersecurity, and operational risks.
• Oversee monitoring of AI solutions to address model performance, bias, transparency, and unintended outcomes.

Business Transformation & Performance Management

• Lead AI-driven transformation initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, streamline operations, and enhance customer experience.
• Develop business cases, investment recommendations, and return-on-investment assessments for AI initiatives.
• Establish performance metrics and report implementation progress, adoption, risks, and business results to executive leadership.

Organizational Development & Change Management

• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible AI adoption across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional teams and recommend organizational capabilities and resources necessary to support the Company's AI strategy.
