Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a VP of Engineering - Authentication to lead a large, globally distributed engineering organization responsible for the Auth0 Product Unit. You will report to the Auth0 Product Unit SVP of Engineering and own a mission to deliver seamless, secure, scalable login experiences for B2B and B2C customers.

You will guide teams that underpin billions of authentications, developer tooling, and AI agent security in a zero-trust world, while partnering with PM,

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading SaaS product engineering teams.
• 12+ years experience in full-stack software development (front end, back end, data).
• 3+ years running or using large-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
• Background in agentic experiences, authentication, authorization and/or security is a plus.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps to build services and monitoring.
• Deep expertise securing cloud infrastructure and access controls.
• Proven ability to mentor top technical talent and lead high-performance teams.
• Strong communication and leadership suitable for fast-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Scale the engineering organization to meet customer and product needs.
• Mentor and coach managers of distributed teams.
• Collaborate with Product & Design to build next-gen Identity products.
• Drive operational excellence and scalable processes/policies.
• Maintain security, performance and availability SLAs during growth.
• Lead feature delivery with aggressive deadlines and iterate on results.
• Redefine Developer Experience for AI with identity, permissions and policy enforcement.
• Analyze team structure and investments to optimize outcomes.
• Partner with PM and Engineering leadership in roadmap planning.
