Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Sr. Manager, AI Engineering to lead a senior team, define charter for the Corporate Engineering platform, and build the AI platform enabling rapid adoption with cost control and governance.

The role partners across Engineering, Security, Data, Finance, and People, driving an enablement-first approach while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• 3+ years managing and developing engineers.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience standing up an internal AI/developer platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior team spanning platform engineering and TPM.
• Define the charter for Corporate Engineering platform ownership.
• Build the internal AI platform and cost governance to enable scale.
• Own AI access layer and MCP layer end-to-end, including governance.
• Develop the paved path for internal applications with safe defaults.
