Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing production web applications with responsibility for major systems or products.
• Strong backend and data engineering skills across the full stack.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript with RESTful APIs.
• Experience leading frontend and backend engineers, including recruiting and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and architecture for backend services, data pipelines and customer-facing products.
• Build systems that collect, transform and deliver healthcare and practice management data.
• Create dashboards, workflows and tools for clinic staff to access information.
• Connect EHRs and practice management platforms to ensure reliable data flows.
• Turn manual tasks into automated workflows and self-service capabilities.
• Define engineering practices to improve delivery, maintainability and scalability.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding and professional development across the engineering and data teams.
• Guide technical decisions through architecture and code reviews.
• Maintain production quality through testing, monitoring and controlled releases.
