They are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead their global Product & Engineering function.

The Role

The VP Engineering (CPO/CTO) will drive the end-to-end technology strategy, unify fragmented systems, and oversee agile product development across hardware and software solutions. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role is instrumental in aligning the technology vision with strategic business goals and delivering scalable solutions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and Lead Technology Strategy
  Develop and execute a scalable, secure, and forward-looking technical architecture and product vision.
• Oversee Product Development & Engineering
  Lead multiple product lines and cross-functional teams (software, hardware, and embedded systems) through agile methodologies.
• Modernize Platforms & Processes
  Unify legacy systems, improve infrastructure efficiency, and drive cloud/data modernization initiatives.
• Champion Security and Compliance
  Build a robust security posture across systems and processes while maintaining compliance with global standards.
• Align Product with Business Needs
  Strengthen internal feedback loops to ensure product roadmaps reflect market and customer priorities.
• Lead High-Performing Teams
  Foster a culture of empowerment, agility, and performance across geographically dispersed teams.
• Drive Innovation
  Leverage emerging technologies (AI, automation, big data) to ensure continued leadership in a competitive industry.

About You

• Executive Experience: 5+ years in a VP Engineering, CPO, CTO or similar senior technology leadership role
• Domain Expertise: Experience in retail tech, SaaS, logistics, or high-scale B2B/B2C platforms is highly desired
• Agile Leadership: Deep understanding of agile frameworks and cross-functional product development
• Global Perspective: Proven ability to lead distributed international teams across functions and time zones
• Transformation Champion: Skilled in architecture unification, cost optimization, and scaling teams during rapid change
• Strong Communicator: Can clearly articulate short- and long-term strategy to both technical and commercial stakeholders

Preferred Experience

• Product ownership of both hardware and software solutions
• Track record in cloud modernization, data platforms (e.g., Databricks), and cost reduction
• Experience in security, compliance, and cross-border operational challenges
