Job summary

Area23 is seeking a VP Director of Engagement Strategy to lead engagement initiatives, grow accounts, and guide cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes.

You will mentor junior strategists, facilitate workshops, and develop tactical plans that align with brand goals and client needs. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic insight, and delivering high-quality engagement deliverables across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.
• 9+ years healthcare marketing experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ability to create complex presentations.
• Experience with brainstorming software Stormz, Miro, Mural and Zoom.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to present under pressure.
• Strong active listening, collaborative working style with ability to influence others.
• Experience leading teams to make informed decisions and manage multiple accounts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned accounts, ensuring quality engagement deliverables and strategic recommendations.
• Interface with senior clients and Account leadership on ongoing and new business opportunities.
• Mentor junior-level engagement strategists and foster career development.
• Synthesize insights into actionable plans to drive brand goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance.
• Provide insights on on- and offline channels and assess value and limitations.
• Lead engagement strategy deliverables on new business pitches to clients.
• Direct accounts on opportunities, ensuring quality strategic and creative output.
• Drive business outcomes by delivering high-quality engagement strategies and recommendations.
