Leidos Energy seeks a strategic, finance-focused executive to serve as Vice President and CFO, Energy. Based in Reston, VA, this role partners with the Energy SVP to shape growth, investment decisions, and operating performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
15+ years of leadership in finance, operations, planning, or related functions.
Experience leading large, complex businesses at scale, ideally $1B+ revenue.
Matrixed enterprise environment experience.
Proven growth, performance improvement, and transformation.
Executive presence, strong communication, and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Advise Energy Area SVP on strategy, performance, resource allocation, and value creation.
Lead growth from $1.3B toward $2B+ in annual revenue.
Drive strategy, shareholder value, and operational excellence.
Identify/mange inorganic growth opportunities (M&A, ventures).
Lead FP&A, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis.
Establish scalable operating rhythm for accountability and results.
Partner with Operations, Growth, BD, Technology, and Programs to maximize growth/profitability.
Modernize F&A with analytics, automation, and AI adoption.
Deliver actionable insights for executive decisions.
Build and develop a high-performing Finance & Business Operations org.
Foster accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Align with IRS, SEC, and other regulatory requirements; ensure strong controls.
Set pricing strategy and governance across Energy, in coordination with PM.
