Job summary

Silicon Valley Community Foundation is seeking an experienced leader for its donor services department. Reporting to the Chief Donor Engagement and Services Officer, the Vice President, Donor Services will oversee grants to nonprofits, domestic and international, and lead a high-performing team to deliver a world-class donor experience.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in donor services or grantmaking, with strong leadership, communication, and compliance expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years donor services or grantmaking experience.
• Legal background or compliance experience with donor advised funds or foundations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor services and ensure world-class donor experience.
• Oversee timely, compliant grant processing.
• Develop annual department budget and monitor spending.
• Represent SVCF externally at events and in blogs or related articles.
• Provide guidance on policy and compliance and cross-department collaboration.
