Job summary

Silicon Valley Community Foundation seeks an Executive Vice President, Fundraising and Business Development to lead resource development, donor engagement, and corporate philanthropy across the Bay Area. Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years with senior-level management experience within a development, fundraising or sales function.
• Five to seven years of business-to-business sales or business development experience; cross-sector experience desirable.
• Strong, demonstrated facility with business modeling and analysis.
• Professional experience with corporate donors, either as donor, grant recipient, or fundraiser.
• Interest in and/or experience with Silicon Valley high tech economy and corporate priorities.
• Ability to connect programmatic goals with donor interests and vice versa.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of fundraisers to achieve annual revenue targets.
• Develop and execute strategies to raise resources for initiatives and endowments.
• Identify and establish relationships with corporate donors and advisory firms.
• Present philanthropy opportunities and craft customized funding solutions for supporters.
• Collaborate with CMS, donor services, and finance to ensure donor satisfaction and impact.
