A leading alternative investment firm is seeking a Vice President or Director for the Restructuring & Workouts team to manage stressed and distressed portfolio investments. This role requires independent leadership in complex situations, working closely with teams and external advisors. The candidate should ideally possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in direct lending or credit restructuring. Qualifications
5–10 years of relevant experience in direct lending or workouts and credit restructuring.
Experience working on the creditor/lender side is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated involvement in complex restructurings and distressed situations.
Responsibilities
Lead restructuring and workout situations across KAPC’s portfolio.
Act as primary point of contact on select stressed/distressed investments.
Develop and evaluate restructuring strategies including capital structure solutions.
Skills
Direct lending / private credit special situations or workouts
Credit restructuring groups at banks or investment firms
Financial modeling expertise
Strong understanding of capital structures
Comfort operating in a lean environment
