Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President for Wealth Management Operational Risk, to partner with risk, technology and business teams. Based in New York with future transition to Dallas, this role focuses on digital asset operational risk and control design.

Expect 5+ years in blockchain/digital assets, strong regulatory awareness, and collaboration across global teams. In-person interviews will be required at the Dallas location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in blockchain and digital assets, preferably in banking or regulated institutions.
• Knowledge of crypto trading, custody, and tokenization.
• Understanding of NFRA/RCSA concepts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with 2nd Line centralized risk teams to ensure integrated 2nd Line risk for digital assets.
• Review and approve new digital asset products, services, and activities; participate in committees.
• Advise on process and control design; oversee remediation and monitor losses.
• Assess operational risk impacts via non-financial risk assessments and incident reporting.
